Keilana is the embodiment of everything that her mother, Michelle, hated. Poor Kaykay can't catch a break. Some women are not meant to be moms. I love Kam's relationship with Kaykay. Can't wait for part 2!!
Love the skin your in. KK's mom was a trip. Hating your child for what someone else did. Kam is good for her. I wonder how fresh found out. Somebody on payroll. This book was good. Maybe her heifers of a mother. Don't miss out folks.
I absolutely love when I find a new author and fall in love with their writing style. Jasmine delivers a fast paced, intriguing storyline with excellent character development. This 5 star read tugs at all of your emotions. I look forward to reading much more from this author.
The hero and heroine took waayyy to long to get together. It wasn't until half of the book until they were introduced. Around 80 percent was when they kind of became a couple. The book is titled Let me show you real love for goodness sake. Hopefully their relationship will develop in book 2.
strength comes with determination, I love how strong she became even though all of the cards pointing against her. She had her morals about herself and no matter how some one tried to make her feel sorry for herself, she over came it. Her friend Kam wasn't interested in one thing only, he was interested in learning who she was on the inside.
This was my first book from Jasmine.
I appreciate the book being centered around younger folks. I hate everything KK went through, but she was so strong to endure it all. When she found her voice, I cheered her on! I'm thankful for her best friend and family, they gave her the love she was missing. Then walked in Kam and KK aunt and little cousin.
The beef that ensued in the book was very relatable and I hate it happened after KK finally stood up for herself. This was so good I had to get Part 2
This is my first time reading a book by Jasmine and I was caught up. The story pulled me in as well as the characters.
All of the suffering Keilana endured at the hands of her mother was horrible.
She had her best friend and no one else. Then comes Kam. But then there's even more drama and life and death situations.
My heart really goes out to her. I hope that her and her crew can make it through this situation alive.
